Triphala is one of the most highly prized herbal formulas used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, most commonly taken internally.
Made of 3 dried fruits Amalaki, Haritaki and Bibhitaki, each a powerful fruit but, according to Ayurveda, when mixed their benefits are amplified, balancing, detoxifying and nourishing. Shown to have antibacterial effects and high in vitamin C.
*Amalaki – Anti- inflammatory properties, antioxidants and vitamin C. Used as a remedy for treating acne, eczema and rosacea.
*Bibhitaki – Has purifying and astringent properties.
*Haritaki – A well known fruit that is excellent for anti-aging and skin thinning. Rejuvenating tissues.
Directions for use:
• Place a small amount of grains into a bowl or your hand.
• Add approx. the same amount of water and mix to a paste.
• Massage gently over skin.
• Rinse well.
We recommend using a little bowl as you can have more control and waste less product.
This product may be used ask a face mask, leave on for max. 5-7 mins. You can add honey or yogurt instead of water
